Mumford & Truitt Farms, LLC has requested a modification of its irrigation water allocation for two existing irrigation wells and one proposed irrigation well.  The requested allocation is 0.79 million gallons (MG) per day, 12.60 MG per month, and 51.97 MG per year.  The wells are located northeast of Laurel in Sussex County, near the intersection of Concord Road and County Seat Highway. Tax parcel 132-8.00-36.00.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by August 23, 2021, at 4:30 p.m.  A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
