Notice has been given that:
Noramco, requests a construction permit amendment to scale the production of cLDX and LDX from the original batch size at their 500 Swedes Landing Road, Wilmington, New Castle County facility. The cLDX and LDX production line will be permitted to emit a combined total of 4.7 tons per year of VOCs and a combined total of 2.2 tons per year of HAPs. Individual components of VOCs and HAPS are: 2.0 tons per twelve month rolling period of Ethanol, 3.30 tons per twelve month rolling period of Ethyl Acetate, 0.50 tons per twelve month rolling period of Isobutylene, 0.001 ton per twelve month rolling period of Methanesulfonic Acid, and 2.20 tons per twelve month rolling period of Toluene by Permit# 2021/0021-Construction (VOC RACT) (A2).

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending October 10, 2022. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
