Notice has been given that:

Mountaire Farms of Delaware, Inc., requests permission for the operation of one (1) limited-term emergency generator, rated 1000 kW (1354 HP) at 29106 John J. Williams Hwy, Millsboro, Sussex County, Delaware. The engine used in this generator set complies with U. S. EPA regulations under the provisions of 40 CFR 89, Non-Road Tier 2 emissions limits. Permit# APC-2023/0065-CONSTRUCTION (NSPS)(GACT)

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending April 17, 2023. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
