Notice has been given that:

Middletown Materials, LLC, requests a permit amendment to operate one (1) 350 hp McCloskey International Jaw Crusher (GCS-22) temporarily at SR 1 and SR 16, located at Milton, DE 19968. The crusher will be limited to operate from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, for a maximum three (3) week period. The crusher will be permitted to emit 3.36 TPY for NOx, 1.70 TPY for CO, 0.16 TPY for THC, 0.09 TPY for PM, and 0.007 TPY for SO2 by Permit: APC-2002/0738-OPERATION (SM) (Amendment 12).

A public hearing on the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending December 4, 2023. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
