Notice has been given that:

Middletown Materials, LLC, requests a permit amendment to operate one (1) 425 hp Nordberg Crusher (GCS-16) temporarily at Oyster Cove, located at Old Orchard Road, Lewes, Delaware. The crusher will be limited to operate from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, for a maximum three (3) week period. The crusher will be permitted to emit 4.14 TPY for NO_x, 0.65 TPY for CO, 0.08 TPY for THC, 0.08 TPY for PM, and 0.087 TPY for SO₂ by Permit: APC-2002/0738-OPERATION (SM) (Amendment 11).

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending July 6, 2021. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
