Notice has been given that:
Kent County Wastewater Treatment Plant-Frederica requests permission to operate one (1) emergency generator, rated 2000 kW (2941 HP) at their 139 Milford Neck Road, Milford, Kent County, Delaware facility. The engine used in this generator set complies with U. S. EPA regulations under the provisions of 40 CFR 1039 Appendix I, Non-Road Tier 4 emissions limits. The emergency generator will be regulated under Permit # APC-2021/0116-OPERATION (Amendment 01).

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending Monday, January 9, 2023. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
