Notice has been given that:
INVISTA S.à r.l.-Seaford Plant (INVISTA), requests a permit to construct two (2) new boilers at their facility located at 25876 DuPont Road, Seaford. Each boiler is rated at 21.3 MMBTU per hour and will combust natural gas. The boilers will be permitted to emit in the aggregate: 6.84 TPY of NOx; 13.76 TPY of CO; 0.12 TPY of SOx; 1.40 TPY of PM10; and 0.96 TPY of VOC by Permit# (APC-2020/0178-CONSTRUCTION (NSPS); and APC-2020/0179-CONSTRUCTION (NSPS).

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending July 27, 2020. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
