Notice has been given that:
GT USA Wilmington, LLC requests Natural Minor permits to construct and operate five (5) existing cold solvent cleaners and one (1) 708 hp Clarke Detroit Diesel – Allison, Inc. fire pump at the Port of Wilmington located at 1 Hausel Road, Wilmington, Delaware. The degreasers will be permitted to emit volatile organic compounds (VOC) by Permits: APC-2021/0049 through 2021/0053 – CONSTRUCTION/OPERATION.
Potential emissions from the diesel engine of the fire pump will be 0.07 tons/year of particulate matter (PM), 0.002 tons/year of sulfur dioxides (SOx), 3.45 tons/year of nitrogen dioxides (NOx), 0.75 ton/year of carbon monoxide (CO), and 0.062 tons/year of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Permit: APC-2021/0054 – CONSTRUCTION/OPERATION.

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending April 26, 2021. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
