Notice has been given that:

Delaware Recyclable Products, Inc. (DRPI), requests a construction permit to continue construction of wells and gas piping in the existing landfill gas management system at their landfill for construction/demolition materials located at 246 Marsh Lane, New Castle. The expansion of the existing landfill gas management system will provide continuous landfill gas collection throughout the life of the landfill (Permit # APC-2024/0002-CONSTRUCTION). Total permitted emissions from the facility will remain unchanged at 87.4 tons per year (TPY) of Carbon Monoxide (CO), 17.3 TPY of Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), 1.46 TPY of Non-Methane Organic Compounds (NMOCs), 0.57 TPY of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), 87.0 TPY of Sulfur Oxides (SOx), 3.76 TPY of Particulate Matter (PM), and 0.32 TPY of Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs).

The application for this permit may be reviewed upon request. The application is posted at de.gov/dnrecnotices. A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending Monday, November 13, 2023. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
