Notice has been given that:
Cottman Transmission requests an (operating) permit to construct or operate a 0.25 MMBTU/hr space heater fired on used oil at their 1600 N. DuPont Hwy., New Castle, New Castle County, facility. The space heater will be permitted to emit 0.13 TPY NOx, 0.016 TPY CO, 0.293 TPY SOx, 0.0078 TPY TOC, and 0.31 TPY PM10 by Permit# APC-2023/0100-CONSTRUCTION/OPERATION.
The application for this permit may be reviewed upon request. The application is posted at de.gov/dnrecnotices. To submit comments, for additional information or for information regarding how you can inspect the application, please contact Jennifer Childears at (302) 739 9402.
A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending August 7, 2023. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
