Notice has been given that:
Christiana Care Health Services, requests a Natural Minor permit to construct four (4) 450 kW (684 BHP) Natural gas fired emergency generators at their new logistics center located at 300 Executive Drive, Newark, DE 19702. The engines used in these generators comply with U.S. EPA regulations under the provisions of 40 CFR 1048, Non-Road Tier II emissions limits. The emergency generators will operate only during emergencies and for the purpose of maintenance checks and readiness testing. Permit: APC-2022/0020-CONSTRUCTION, Permit:APC-2022/0021-CONSTRUCTION, Permit:APC-2022/0022-CONSTRUCTION, and Permit: APC-2022/0023-CONSTRUCTION.

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending May 2, 2022. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
