Notice has been given that:
Beebe Healthcare requests permission for the operation of two (2) existing MTU America, Inc. emergency generators, each rated at 1,000 kW (1,341 HP) at Beebe Rehoboth Health Campus; 19161 Healthy Way, Rehoboth Beach, Sussex County, Delaware. The engines used in these generator sets comply with U. S. EPA regulations under the provisions of 40 CFR 89, Non-Road Tier 2 emissions limits. Permit: APC-2021/0104-CONSTRUCTION/OPERATION (NSPS) (GACT) and Permit: APC-2021/0108-CONSTRUCTION/OPERATION (NSPS) (GACT).

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending May 17, 2021. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
