Permit Application

Notice has been given that:

Rohm and Haas Electronic Materials CMP LLC, requests a permit to construct a jacketed 1600 gallon batch reactor and a dedicated 225 gallon raw material blending tank in the Polymer Area in Building 2 at their 451 Bellevue Road, Newark, facility. Emissions from the reactor and raw material blending tank will be controlled by an existing scrubber. Emissions of dimethylformamide are currently limited to 8.9 tons per year and will not increase by Permit# APC-2024/0022-CONSTRUCTION.

The application for this permit may be reviewed upon request. The application is posted at de.gov/dnrecnotices. A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending January 1, 2024. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
