Project Description: Summit Aviation Inc. has submitted a renewal application for an Operating Permit for an On-site Wastewater Treatment and Disposal System for the Summit Aviation site. The system has been designed to accommodate 9,300 gallons per day of wastewater generated by 160 office employees and 244 maintenance employees and consists of two septic tanks with five pressure dosed beds for disposal.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice, ending at 4:30 p.m. on November 12, 2026. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
