Project Description: Dover Air Force Base proposes to install approximately one hundred and sixty linear feet (160 LF) of one-and-one-fourth inch (1.25”) diameter sanitary sewer force main, two (2) solids handling wastewater pumps and related appurtenances to serve a proposed Group Facility 270 Building, located at Dover Air Force Base, Dover, DE 19902. The proposed force main will connect to Kent County Regional Resource Recovery Facility.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice, ending at 4:30 p.m. on October 1, 2026. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
