Notice has been given that:

Hertrich Collision Center of Middletown requests an Auto Body Permit to construct or operate an Auto Body Shop that conducts any or all of the following: collision repair, vehicle painting, paint stripping or sanding, body work, antique restoration, and student training in any of these areas at their 353 Auto Park Dr., Middletown, New Castle County facility. The Auto Body Shop will be permitted to emit less than a combined total of 25 tons per year of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) by Permit# APC-2026/0149-C/O.

The application for this permit may be reviewed upon request. The application is posted at de.gov/dnrecnotices. To submit comments, for additional information or for information regarding how you can inspect the application, please contact Mia White at (302) 739 9402 or mia.white@delaware.gov.

A public hearing on the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding the application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending September 24, 2026. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
