Notice has been given that:
Air Liquide USA, LLC, requests a permit to construct a thermal oxidizer to replace an existing thermal oxidizer at their 305 Water Street, Newport, DE 19804 facility. The thermal oxidizer will be permitted to emit 0.44 TPY NOX, 0.36 TPY CO, 0.004 TPY SOX, 0.035 tons per year (TPY) PM10/PM2.5, 2.53 TPY Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), and 2.28 TPY Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs) by Permit# APC-2026/0193-CONSTRUCTION.
The application for this permit may be reviewed upon request. The application is posted at de.gov/dnrecnotices. To submit comments, for additional information or for information regarding how you can inspect the application, please contact Mia White at (302) 739‑9402 or mia.white@delaware.gov.
A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending September 17, 2026. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
