Project Description: Azalea Woods, LLC proposes to install approximately one thousand one hundred and fifty-four linear feet (1,154 LF) of four-inch (4”) diameter sanitary sewer force main, two (2) submersible pumps, and related appurtenances to serve a proposed 114 dwelling subdivision located approximately between Gravel Hill Road & Shingle Point Road, North of Lewes-Georgetown Highway Georgetown, DE 19947. The proposed force main will connect to Beaver Creek Wastewater Treatment Facility.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice, ending at 4:30 p.m. on September 10, 2026. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
