Notice has been given that:

Bear Materials LLC-New Castle Site, requests a permit to construct and operate one (1) CemenTech (CT-350 upright) Cement Silo No.5 equipped with a 330 Pulse-Jet Dust House at their 1526 Matassino Road, New Castle facility in New Castle County. The CemenTech (CT-350 upright) Cement Silo No. 5, equipped with 330 Pulse-Jet Dust House, will be permitted to emit 0.018 TPY of PM, 0.012 TPY of PM₁₀, and 0.012 TPY of PM_2.5 by Permit: APC-2026/0184-CONSTRUCTION (PTE).

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending August 13, 2026. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
