Project Description: City of Harrington proposes to install approximately four thousand one hundred and fifty-one linear feet (4,151 LF) of four-inch (4”) diameter sanitary sewer force main, two thousand one hundred and sixteen linear feet (2,116 LF) of three-inch (3”) diameter sanitary sewer force main, six hundred and seventy-nine linear feet (679 LF) of two-inch (2”) diameter sanitary sewer force main, eight hundred and fifty linear feet (850 LF) of one-and-one-half-inch (1.5”) diameter sanitary sewer force main, and related appurtenances to serve a force main modification and replacement project serving future warehouses located at 249 Cluckey Drive Harrington, DE 19952. The proposed force main will connect to Kent Regional Resource Recovery Facility.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice, ending at 4:30 p.m. on June 11, 2026. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
