Notice has been given that:
Croda Inc., requests a Construction/Operation permit to operate a 99.9 mmBtu Limited Term Boiler at their 315 Cherry Lane, New Castle, New Castle County facility. The 99.9 mmBtu Limited Term Boiler will be permitted to emit 2.2 tpy PM, 0.26 tpy SOX, 15.8 tpy NOX, 16.4 tpy CO and 1.8 tpy VOC by Permit# APC-2021/0126-CONSTUCTION. The 99.9 mmBtu Limited Term Boiler will be operated in place of Boiler 3, which will result in a net reduction in overall emissions.

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending July 12, 2021. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
