Project Description: Diamond Materials proposes to install approximately one thousand eight hundred and thirty-three linear feet (1,833 LF) of six inch (6”) diameter HPDE SDR-11 sanitary sewer force main and one (1) submersible pump station to serve a subdivision of 108 dwellings at 762 Cox Neck Road, New Castle, DE 19704. The proposed force main will tie into an existing New Castle County sewer main and connect to the Delaware City Treatment Plant.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice, ending at 4:30 p.m. on October 16th, 2025. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
