Project Description: Ribera Development LLC proposes to install a submersible pumping station, approximately one hundred and forty-five (145) feet of four (4) inch diameter sanitary sewer force main, four thousand five hundred and fifty-eight (4,558) feet of eight (8) inch diameter gravity sanitary sewer main, 24 manholes to serve 107 single family units and additional facilities in the proposed subdivision located in Harbeson. The sewer collection system and disposal system will be public and will be managed, operated, and maintained by Artesian Wastewater Management Inc. Discharge of effluent will be conveyed into a Sussex County force main and taken to Sussex County Inland Bays Wastewater Facility. The site is bordered by Hollymount Road in the North, Unity Branch to the south and halfway between Route 5 in the west and route 24 in the east.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 14 days from this notice. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
