This office has under consideration the applications of:

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) SPGP-20 Reissuance — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers proposes to reissue the Delaware State Programmatic General Permit-20 (SPGP-20). SPGP-20 authorizes certain existing and proposed piers, docks, mooring piles, boat lifts, breakwaters, and the replacement of existing serviceable bulkhead structures in navigable waters of the United States within the geographic boundaries of the Philadelphia District Corps of Engineers in the State of Delaware. The proposed reissuance includes additional special conditions and minor clarifications. Additionally, the General Permit is under review for a Section §401 Water Quality Certification.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 20 days from this notice. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
