Pursuant to 7 Del. C., Section 6004, notice is hereby given by the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control’s (DNREC) Division of Waste and Hazardous Substances (DWHS), Compliance and Permitting Section (CAPS) that the Fitzgerald Salvage and Recycling Scrap Tire Facility Permit (26/08) at 17115 Fitzgerald Road Lincoln, DE 19960 is being renewed by the CAPS.

Fitzgerald Salvage and Recycling renewal application is for the continued operation of the Group 2 Scrap Tire Facility at 17115 Fitzgerald Road, Lincoln, DE, 19960. This permit incorporates operation and environmental monitoring requirements for Fitzgerald Salvage and Recycling.

The application and draft permit for this permit renewal and expansion may be reviewed upon request. The application and draft permit are posted online at de.gov/dnrecnotices.

A public hearing (on the above) will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request within 15 days from this notice, ending at 4:30 p.m. on November 2, 2026. A request for a hearing shall be in writing and shall state the nature of the issues to be raised at the hearing. It must also show a familiarity with the permit application and a reasoned statement of the activity’s probable impact.
