The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) Remediation Section (RS) has adopted a plan regarding the clean-up of the Wil King Station [DE-1843] Site (Site) located in Lewes. The Site includes woodlands and former farmland, and historic dumping has occurred in portions of the Site. The Site requires groundwater monitoring and a restriction on the use of groundwater at the Site.
DNREC issued a public notice of the Proposed Plan of Remedial Action (Proposed Plan) for the Wil King Station Site on October 22, 2025. There were no comments or questions from the public regarding the Proposed Plan.
