The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) Division of Waste and Hazardous Substance (WHS) Remediation Section (RS) invites public to comment on a proposal to clean-up the 5408 DuPont Parkway Site (DE-1860) (Site) located at 5408 DuPont Parkway in Smyrna. The Site has historically operated as an automobile salvage yard. 5408 DuPont Parkway Site consists of approximately 13.67 acres. The Site is developed with a commercial building located in the northern portion of the property.

5408 DuPont Parkway Site will be subject to the following key remedial actions: the recording of an Environmental Covenant restricting the site use to commercial uses and restriction of groundwater withdrawal for residential purposes.
