The Hazardous Substance Cleanup Act (HSCA), 7 Del. C. § 9107 (a)(1), requires the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) to provide “public notification within 20 days after entering into negotiations for a voluntary cleanup settlement agreement with any person that agrees to perform a remedy.”
As required by § 9107 (a)(1), DNREC advises that it is negotiating a Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP) Agreement with Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County Inc. regarding the New Castle Ave & B Street Site (DE-1396) located at 501, 503, 505, 507, and 509 New Castle Avenue, Wilmington, DE. The Site is identified as a portion of New Castle County tax parcel numbers 26-058.10-079, 26-058.10-078, 26-058.10-077, 26-058.10-076, 26-058.10-075.
