Non-Discrimination Policy

The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (“Department” or “DNREC”) invites public comment on a proposal to clean-up 321 E. 11th St. & 0 Wilson St. (DE-1824) (“Site”) located at 321 E. 11th St. & 0 Wilson St. in Wilmington. The Site historically operated as a tannery before being redeveloped into the Elwyn Institute and a parking lot.

321 E. 11th St. & 0 Wilson St. will be subject to the following key remedial actions: development and compliance with the Contaminated Materials Management Plan (CMMP) and the recording of an Environmental Covenant requiring compliance with the CMMP, restricting groundwater withdrawal, and restricting the site to commercial, manufacturing, or industrial use.
