The Department invites public comment on a proposal to clean-up the 1281 Airport Road Site (DE-1826) located at 1281 Airport Road in Milford.  The Site was historically used for residential housing since the early 1950s. The site has also been associated with the Milford Air Park with maintenance buildings and 3 aviation grade gasoline tanks and dispensers located on the western portion of the property. The Site consists of approximately 3.90 acres located on the north side of Airport Road and west of Dupont Boulevard.

The 1281 Airport Road Site (DE-1826) will be subject to the following key remedial actions: development and compliance with the Contaminated Materials Management Plan (CMMP), the recording of an Environmental Covenant restricting groundwater withdrawal and compliance with the CMMP, and submittal of a Long-Term Stewardship (LTS) Plan for monitoring groundwater chemicals of concern.
