The Department invites public comment on a proposal to clean-up the Clifford Brown Walk & E. 12th St. Site (DE-1825) located at 15 East 12th St. & 1223-31 Clifford Brown Walk in Wilmington. The Site was previously maintained as a parking lot and recreational court and is currently vacant.
Clifford Brown Walk & E. 12th St. will be subject to the following key remedial actions: development of a Remedial Action Work Plan, installation of a vapor mitigation system, development and compliance with the Contaminated Materials Management Plan (CMMP), development and compliance with the Long-Term Stewardship Plan, and the recording of an Environmental Covenant restricting groundwater withdrawal and requiring the installation of a vapor mitigation system beneath enclosed building construction.
