Proposed Plan of Remedial Action for 6725 Governor Printz Boulevard Site (DE-1839)

Division of Waste and Hazardous Substances

The Department invites public comments on a proposal to clean-up 6725 Governor Printz Boulevard Site (DE-1839) located at 6725 Governor Printz Boulevard in Wilmington. Since the early 1970s the Site primarily operated as a metal cutting fluid blending facility. The Site contained drums of various chlorinated fluids. Historic Site operations likely resulted in releases that have impacted the Site groundwater and soil.

6725 Governor Printz Boulevard Site will be subject to the following remedial actions: recording of an Environmental Covenant restricting well installation and groundwater withdrawal and restricting the property to non-residential uses; installation of a vapor mitigation system; and compliance with Long-Term Stewardship Plan.

Details of the Proposed Plan are available online at: den.dnrec.delaware.gov

The comment period ends on May 28, 2024. For additional information, please contact Brenda Haire, DNREC Project Officer via email at RS_Public_Comments@delaware.gov or at (302) 395-2600.
