The Department invites public comment on a proposal to clean-up Bayhealth W. Water St. & S. Governors Ave (DE-1814) located at 120 W. Water Street & 505 S. Governors Avenue in Dover. The Site is approximately 0.23 acres and is currently developed with a two story residence and a single story commercial building.
Bayhealth W. Water St. & S. Governors Ave. Site will be subject to the following remedial actions: the excavation and disposal of an area of arsenic impacted soil, development of and compliance with a Contaminated Materials Management Plan (CMMP), the recording of an Environmental Covenant restricting groundwater withdrawal, requiring a vapor assessment prior to any building construction, and compliance with the CMMP.
