Subaqueous Lands Permit

Alan and Mary Elizabeth Campbell (2-34-24.00-93.00) – To construct a 4 foot wide by 22 foot long pier and a 5 foot wide by 50 foot long dock in an Unnamed Lagoon adjacent to Guinea Creek located at 13 W. Island Rd., Winding Creek Village, Millsboro, Sussex County, DE.

Subaqueous Lands Permit, Water Quality and Wetlands Permit

DNREC-Division of Parks & Recreation (3-34-25.00-11.00) – To hydraulically dredge to a depth of 7 feet below mean low water, removing up to 15,000 cubic yards of material annually in the marina, boat ramp, and access channel, and to hydraulically pump the material via temporary pipeline over approximately sixty (60) feet of State-regulated wetlands, and to dispose of the material annually in Bottom Hills Drain, an open-water disposal site, located approximately 720 feet east of the Indian River Marina at 39415 Inlet Road, Rehoboth Beach, Sussex County, DE. Additionally, the applicant requests for a Section §401 Water Quality Certification. Approval is being requested to permanently fill subaqueous lands with approximately 15,000 cubic yards of dredged material.

Subaqueous Lands Lease and Marina Permit

Quillen’s Point Homeowners Association (1-34-5.00-233.00) – To construct a minor marina alteration for an expansion of up to 25 slips to an existing 17 slip marina by the construction of nine (9) 3 foot wide tapering to 1.5 foot wide by 15 foot long finger piers and twenty-five (25) stand along mooring pilings; To construct two (2) pile supported navigational markers and relocate one (1) pile supported navigational marker; To allow a blanket pre-approval authorization for slip holders to install either a single or double PWC floater not to exceed the total 42 slips at the Quillen’s Point Community Marina located in Beach Cove at the terminus of Apple Court, Ocean View, Sussex County, DE

Subaqueous Lands Lease

Theofaniy James Batistas & Stephanie Diamond Batistas (1-34-8.00-154.01) – To utilize and maintain a 6 by 30 foot long dock, a 4 by 140 foot long pier, 3 stand-alone mooring pilings and to install a boat lift with four (4) associated pilings in White Creek at 30231 Jump Lane, Ocean View, Sussex County, DE

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 20 days from this notice. Please indicate in your letter whether your intention is to request a public hearing or whether you are simply providing comments for the Department’s consideration. If a public hearing is desired, please be advised that a public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
