Subaqueous Lands Permit Application

DNREC, Fish and Wildlife (134-20.00-10.00) – To conduct a research study by installing a 2 by 30 foot long green bulkhead composed of PVC pipes, 7 cubic yards of clean sand with each PVC pipe planted with Spartina alterniflora, install 30 linear feet of a shell bag toe in front of the green bulkhead and conduct monitoring subsequent to the installation in the Little Assawoman Bay located at the terminus of Mulberry Landing Road, Assawoman Wildlife Area, Frankford, Sussex County, DE

John Noppinger, Jr. (5-33-12.16-447.00) – To install a two piling elevator lift in an unnamed lagoon at 37081 Blue Teal Road, Swann Keys, Selbyville, Sussex County, DE

Toback Development, LLC (3-34-19.00-805.00) -To construct a 6 by 60 foot long linear dock, a boat lift with four (4) associated pilings and two (2) PWC lifts with one (1) associated piling each at 104 W. Buckingham Drive, RBYCC, Rehoboth Beach, Sussex County, Delaware

James Smith (1-34-5.00-132.00) – To repair by replace 100 linear feet of existing bulkhead and to construct a 6 by 25 foot long dock and to install a 6 by 20 foot long floating kayak dock at 29592 Cove Way, Bethany Beach, Sussex County, DE

Indian River Marina Pier, Inc (2-34-34.12-68.00) – To install 44 linear feet of rip-rap revetment consisting of approximately 19 cubic yards of material directly in front of an existing failing concrete wall and to construct a 4 by 44 foot long deck over top of the rip-rap in Indian River Bay at 32582 River Road, Millsboro, Sussex County, DE

Sharon Rose (3-34-13.16-9.00) – To construct a 4 by 12 foot long pier and a 5 by 20 foot long dock in the Lewes & Rehoboth Canal at 77 Tidewater Road, Henlopen Acres, Sussex County, DE

DNREC-Division of Watershed Stewardship (12-02.300-021) – To hydraulically maintenance dredge 16,000 cubic yards of material, dredging to a depth of 7 feet below mean low water from the Delaware City Mooring Basin and Delaware State Police Docking Facility immediately adjacent to the Branch Canal, located at the East end of Clinton Street, Delaware City, New Castle County, DE and to dispose of the material at a confined disposal facility located at the southeast corner of the Branch Canal, in Delaware City, New Castle County, DE

Subaqueous Lands Lease Application

Louis and Barbara Pugliese (134-5.00-330.00) – To construct a 3 by 9 foot long section of pier, a 4 by 13 foot long pier, a 6 by 50 foot long dock, two (2) boat lifts with 4 associated pilings each, a 10 by 12 foot long floating dock in Beach Cove at Lot 21 on Bayfront Drive, Quillen’s Point, Ocean View, Sussex County, DE

Asher Tingle (5-33-20.19-6.00) – To utilize and maintain an existing 6 by 24 foot long dock and to construct a 6 by 11 foot long dock extension (totaling 35 feet) and to remove an existing boat lift and to install a larger boatlift in the Assawoman Bay at 39122 Van Buren Avenue, Selbyville, Sussex County, DE

Christopher Brasure (5-33-12.00-70.00) – To construct a 4 by 40 foot long pier, a 6 by 40 foot long dock, a boatlift with four (4) associated pilings, two 5 by 14 foot long floating PWC docks and a 10 by 12 foot long floating kayak dock in Dirickson Creek at 36545 Rodney Lane, Selbyville, Sussex County, DE

Subaqueous Lands Permit and Marina Permit

DNREC, Division of Fish & Wildlife (26-05200-003) – To reconstruct a 25 by 85 foot long portion of an existing boat ramp, ​and constructing an 8.5 foot long by 25 foot wide portion of the boat ramp, consisting of 204 cubic yards of concrete fill and to construct a 8 by 140 foot long concrete dock pad immediately adjacent to the boat ramp and to install a 8 by 35 foot long floating gangway, a 8 by 25 foot long floating courtesy dock, 222 linear feet of steel sheet piling and to replenish 90 linear feet of rip-rap in Christiana River at E.7th Street Boat Ramp, Wilmington, New Castle County, DE.

Please indicate in your letter whether your intention is to request a public hearing or whether you are simply providing comments for the Department’s consideration. If a public hearing is desired, please be advised that a public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
