Appoquinimink School District (13-007.00-016) – To install a 42 inch diameter by 55 foot long culvert, (1) 10 foot long flared inlet structure, (1) 10 foot long flared outlet structure, (1) riprap calming pool and (2) riprap scour protection aprons located in an unnamed ditch, tributary to Crystal Run at 588 Beaston Road, Middletown, New Castle County, DE

79 G Town LLC (135-19.00-9.00, 9.03, 9.04, and 9.05) – To relocate and widen a 760-foot long section of ditch, to widen and regrade the banks of a 953-foot long section of ditch, and to fill a 280-foot long section of ditch for the construction of a road crossing consisting of two (2) 60-inch diameter culvert pipes, permanently impacting approximately 15,080 square feet of the Layton-Vaughn tax ditch for the proposed development of a commercial center, located on the west side of U.S. 113, approximately 0.3-miles north of U.S. Route 9 in Georgetown, Sussex County, DE

204 Salisbury Exchange LLC (#3-34-20.17-23.00, 3-34-20.17-23.01) – To install 67 linear feet of riprap at the base of a retaining wall in Head of Bay Cove, at 204 Salisbury Street, Dewey Beach, Sussex County, DE.

Smith Landing Campground (#2-35-8.00-38.00) – To maintain a 14 slip minor marina by maintaining a 5 by 11 foot long pier, a 6 by 6 foot long dock, a 5 by 5 foot long fixed pier, a 4 by 8 foot long access pier, a 4 by 4 foot long access pier, a 5 by 140 foot long fixed dock, (6) 3 by 8 foot long gangways, (6) 4 by 14 foot long finger piers, a 4 by 37 foot long fixed pier, a 4.5-6.5 by 35 foot long fixed dock, and a 3 by 33.5 foot long fixed pier, at Smith Landing in Broadkill River, Milton, Sussex County, DE.

Statewide Activity Approval (SAA) Renewal

DNREC-Wetlands and Subaqueous Lands Section – The Wetlands and Subaqueous Lands Section of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control proposes to renew the current Statewide Activity Approval for the repair and replacement of certain Structures in tidal or non-tidal waters of the State of Delaware.

DNREC-Wetlands and Subaqueous Lands Section – The Wetlands and Subaqueous Lands Section of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control proposes to revise and renew the current Statewide Activity Approval for the construction and repair of certain structures in tidal artificial lagoon systems within the State of Delaware.

Please indicate in your letter whether your intention is to request a public hearing or whether you are simply providing comments for the Department’s consideration. If a public hearing is desired, please be advised that a public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
