Subaqueous Lands Permit Application

Shady Park MHC, LLC (533-12.00-92.00) – To remove approximately 1,070 cubic yards of accumulated sediment from approximately 16,057 square feet of man-made drainage ditches in the Shady Park residential community, located north of Lighthouse Road in Selbyville, Sussex County, DE

Delaware Department of Transportation (1000800001) – To remove an existing 46 foot wide by 213 foot long bridge and construct a new bridge, 42 foot wide by 394 foot long, on new alignment, and to temporarily place approximately 85 cubic yards of rip-rap in 2,302 square feet of subaqueous lands for construction access, resulting in approximately 2,248 square feet of permanent open water impacts and 4,814 square feet of temporary open water impacts at bridge 1-159 conveying James Street over the Christina River in Newport, New Castle County, DE

Brittingham (Dredge Location 134-9.00-187.00 and Disposal Location 134-7.00-187.00) – To install an elevator boat lift with two associated pilings and to mechanically maintenance dredge 200± cubic yards to a depth ranging from -3.5 to -4 feet MLW in an unnamed lagoon east of White Creek, located at 32410 Holly Terrace Road, Ocean View and to dispose of the dredged material via sealed dump truck to a previously approved burrow pit located northeast of the intersection of Irons Lane and Old Mill Road at Tax Parcel# 134-7.00-187.00, Dagsboro, Sussex County, DE

Please indicate in your letter whether your intention is to request a public hearing or whether you are simply providing comments for the Department’s consideration. If a public hearing is desired, please be advised that a public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
