Subaqueous Lands Permit Application

Winding Creek Village Property Owners’ Association (234-24.00-102.00, 234-24.00-103.00 and 234-24.00-104.00) – To construct a hybrid living shoreline by installing ≈ 150 linear feet of marsh toe sill following the contour of the shoreline, terraced with ≈ 220 linear feet of coir logs, backfilled with 17 cubic yards of sand fill and to plant Spartina alterniflora and Spartina patens plugs across 1,050 square feet and to install ≈ 225 linear feet of Filtrexx Soxx Logs in an unnamed lagoon adjacent to Guinea Creek located at 77 Creek Drive, Millsboro, Sussex County, DE 

James and Michelle Cianfichi (2-34-12.00-138.00) – To construct a 4 by 15 foot long pier, a 6 by 25 foot long dock and to install a boat lift with four (4) associated pilings in the Rehoboth Bay at 34857 Bookhammer Landing Road, Joy Beach, Lewes, Sussex County Delaware.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 20 days from this notice. Please indicate in your letter whether your intention is to request a public hearing or whether you are simply providing comments for the Department’s consideration. If a public hearing is desired, please be advised that a public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
