Atlantic Concrete Company, Inc. has requested an allocation permit for one proposed Industrial well. The requested allocation is 0.065 million gallons (MG) per day, 1.25 MG per month, and 15.0 MG per year. The well will be located East of Lewes in Sussex County, on Old Orchard Rd. Tax parcel 3-35-11.00-0057.00.  

Welches Pond, LP. has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well and one constructed agricultural well. The requested allocation is 0.08 million gallons (MG) per day, 1.28 MG per month, and 10.7 MG per year. The wells will be located West of Rehoboth in Sussex County, in Welches Pond development on Cedar Grove Road. Tax parcel 3-34-12.00-0016.08.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by January 3, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
