Louis B. Starkey, Trustee, has requested an allocation permit for three proposed irrigation wells. The requested allocation is 1.63 million gallons (MG) per day, 26.07 MG per month, and 107.53 MG per year. The wells will be located southeast of Felton in Kent County, near the intersection of Carpenter Bridge and Paradise Alley Roads. Tax parcels MD-00-161.00-01-10.00 and MD-00-161.00-01-10.03.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by May 31, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
