Gary P. Calloway has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal is 864,000 gallons per day. The well will be located east of Seaford in Sussex County, near the intersection of Baker Mill and Fleetwood Pond Roads. Tax parcel 231-17.00-28.00.

Riley S. Williamson, III has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal is 1,080,000 gallons per day. The well will be located northwest of Delmar in Sussex County, near the intersection of Riley Lane and Cross Road. Tax parcel 532-3.00-29.00.

Devon Roe Rhodes, Trustee has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal is 1,152,000 gallons per day. The well will be located north of Frederica in Kent County, near the intersection of Mulberrie Point and Bay Roads. Tax parcel SM-00-113.00-02-40.00.

Shirley McCabe Harper, Trustee has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal is 720,000 gallons per day. The well will be located north of Millsboro in Sussex County, near the intersection of Indian Meadows Drive and Hollyville Road. Tax parcel 234-27.00-36.04.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by January 25, 2021, at 4:30 p.m.  A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
