The Wilson Sisters have requested the renewal of an allocation permit for one existing irrigation well with a capacity of 700 gpm. The requested allocation is 1.0 MGD, 30.0 MG per month, and 60.0 MG per year. The well is located 3.2 miles West of Dover in Kent County, on Todds Mill Road. Tax parcel ED-00-084.00-02-01.00.000.

Baxter Farms, Inc has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well with a capacity of 800 gpm. The requested allocation is 1.2 MGD, 18.4 MG per month, and 92.2 MG per year. The well will be located 3.1 miles South of Georgetown in Sussex County, on Zoar Road. Tax parcel 1-33-02.00-0029.00.

Barnard Properties Partnership has requested a well permit one proposed public well with a capacity of 10 gpm. The well will be located 0.4 miles East of Laurel in Sussex County, on 4 Street. Tax parcel 3-32-01.08-0037.00.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by July 20, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
