The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:

Tidewater Environmental Services, Inc., of Dover, Delaware, to upgrade the existing Front Street pump station, located on Front Street, Milton, Sussex County, Delaware and install six thousand and fifty linear feet of ten inch (6,050 LF of 10”) PVC DR-18 forcemain. The force main will be installed from the Front Street pump station, run southwards along Front Street, cross Cave Neck Road, just after the intersection with Front Street, run along Cave Neck Road, then cross Sam’s Lucas Road, run along Sam’s Lucas Road and terminate at a tie-in point at the proposed Milton Wastewater Treatment Plant, located on Sam’s Lucas Road, Milton, Sussex County, Delaware.

A public hearing concerning the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before January 10, 2021. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
