The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:

Kent County Levy Court, Department of Public Works, to upgrade Kent County pump station 20B from 5- horsepower Myers, 4VX pumps, to 10-horsepower Flygt NP 3127 MT pumps and install approximately four thousand, six hundred and eighty linear feet of eight inch (4,680 LF of 8”) forcemain. The proposed upgrades will include controls, standby generator and related facilities.

A public hearing concerning the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before August 16, 2020.   A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
