The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application for the construction of wastewater conveyance has been received concerning the following:

Twin Lakes Associates II LLC proposes to replace two (2) existing non-clog pumps with two (2) submersible grinder pumps, install approximately thirty-nine linear feet (39 LF) of three (3) inch diameter sanitary sewer force main and related appurtenances to serve twenty-four (24) apartment units in the proposed Village of Twin Lakes residential development project, located at 1 North Twin Lakes Boulevard in Newark, New Castle County, Delaware. The pump station is located within the proposed subdivision, on the west side of North Twin Lakes Boulevard. The proposed sanitary sewer force main will discharge to the existing 4” force main on Elkton Road.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before December 20, 2023. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
