The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:

Sussex County Engineering, of Georgetown, Delaware, to install a submersible duplex sewage pump station, approximately four thousand three hundred linear feet of eight inch (4,300 LF of 8.0”) forcemain and one thousand five hundred and ten linear feet of ten inch (1,510 LF of 10.0”) forcemain. The pump station will be located along Rudder Lane, approximately 2,000 LF north of Arena’s Restaurant, Georgetown, Sussex County, Delaware. The forcemain will exit the pump station and run northeast, in the right-of-way, parallel to the Penn Central Railroad, crossing the railroad at Spur and Park Avenues.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before May 11, 2022. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
