The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application for the construction of wastewater conveyance has been received concerning the following:
Sussex County proposes to install approximately one thousand five hundred linear feet (1,500 LF) of four (4) inch diameter sanitary sewer force main, air release valves and related appurtenance to function as the discharge for an existing sanitary sewer pump station located approximately two hundred (200) ft. west of the intersection of Alderleaf Drive and Autumnwood Way in the Chapel Green subdivision west of the Rehoboth Bay in Sussex County, Delaware. From the existing pump station, the proposed force main will head west to a proposed sanitary sewer gravity manhole located on the west side of Will King Road just west of the south end of Amberwood Way. The proposed force main and gravity sanitary sewer system will result in the elimination of existing on-site wastewater disposal in the Chapel Green and Conley’s Chapel Village subdivisions.
