The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:
Sunrise Motel of City of Seaford, Delaware, to modify an existing septic system pump station by abandoning two (2) of the four (4) existing pumps and installing approximately two thousand six hundred and sixty-nine linear feet of four inch (2,669 LF of 4.0”) forcemain, to serve the Sunrise Motel, located at 22512 Sussex Hwy, Seaford, Delaware. The existing sceptic system pump station is located at the Motel. The forcemain will exit the pump station, run south and tie into an existing manhole.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before July 13, 2022. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
