The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application for the construction of wastewater conveyance has been received concerning the following:

Red Lion HP LLC proposes to install a suction lift sewer pump station, approximately two thousand and eighty-five linear feet (2,085 LF) of six (6) inch diameter sanitary sewer force main and related appurtenances to serve two hundred and forty (240) townhome units in the proposed Vista at Red Lion residential subdivision located on the north side of Old Porter Road in Bear, New Castle County, Delaware. The proposed Kester Avenue pump station will be located within the proposed subdivision, on the north side of Vista at Red Lion Section 1. The proposed sanitary sewer force main will cross Old Porter Road and discharge to a proposed gravity sewer manhole in the proposed subdivision in Vista at Red Lion Section 2.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before December 13, 2023. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
