The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:

Porter Industrial, LLC of Newark, Delaware, to construct a duplex pump station and approximately one thousand and ninety linear feet of two inch (1,090 LF of 12”) of forcemain to serve the proposed 111,300 SF of Porter Industrial warehouses. The pump station will be located within the commercial development. The forcemain will be constructed from the pump station, run southwest along Porter Road, aka, Salem Church Road (NCR 48) and terminate at a proposed manhole near the intersection with Danstone Drive, Bear, New Castle County, Delaware.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before August 4, 2021. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
